Francis M will always be remembered by the Filipinos

Francis M passed away yesterday after a seven-month struggle with a specific type of leukemia called Acute Myelogenous Leukemia with Mixed Lineage.

After hearing about his death, I quickly searched the net to find his blo g, where he talked about his struggle with chemotherapy. While looking at his photos and reading his entries, I suddenly felt how sad it was to visit a blog by a person who just passed away. I even thought, when I die, all my family can do is to visit my blog and they would remember how I was when I was still on Earth. Nakakalungkot.

Na-realize ko, ang hirap talaga ng may sakit. Mas mahirap kapag may cancer ka, then you know you don't wanna die because you want to see your kids grow. Francis M has 8 kids (some already grown-ups) and I am sure that they're the people who were hurt the most for what happened.

Francis M had left his family but his legacy as a wholesome rapper and talented singer and an effective noontime show host would remain in the hearts of many Filipinos.

I feel so affected by his death because I have seen him many times in Eat Bulaga when Steffi was joining LMP. My concept of Francis M is a heart-warming singer/host who can wittingly entertain Filipino audience with his hosting skills and who can make the whole country sing with his music. Who would forget Mga Kababayan Ko and Kaleidoscope World?

Levels Earned, Lessons Learned in SHAIYA

The holy week was not really holy for me. This was time of the year when I played hard. Really played hard, as in trying to make the toon level every time I logged in .
