Yesterday morning, I tried applying for a job thru www.jobstreet.com. I wasn't really in search of a full-time job since I am employed at the moment. But I just tried. I haven't tried applying thru jobstreet and I just thought of trying it out. In fact, I wasn't so serious when I answered the essay part. I didn't edit my answer -- which is unlikely of me. I never submit unedited work, unless I'm not really serious. I even told myself while I was answering the essay that it's good to exercise my brain cells that morning (that was around 8 a.m.) before I start with my usual work. Then, at around 7 p.m., I was surprised when I got a text message inviting me for a job interview. I thought it came from a crank texter so I ignored it. Then the following morning, I realized I applied for a job the day before and the text message I got was from that company.
But I knew I was just trying it out. The schedule for interview is today at 3p.m. I didn't show up. I just hope that jobstreet won't include me in the black list for what I have done.
